Snuggly Baby Crofter Dk
Sirdar Snuggly Baby Crofter Dk is a gorgeously soft new yarn with an incredible Fair Isle colour effect that appears as you knit. Inspired by the gentlest colours of the Scottish Highlands, our Baby Crofter shades are soft and pretty shades for baby girls and boys and create wonderfully cosy little Fair Isle hand knits. There are 5 new shades including Scottie’ blue 152, ‘Bonnie’ pink 150, ‘Keltie’ 151 and ‘Nessie’ 154.
There are 8 easy knit leaflets and the ‘Baby Crofter’ book 377, which is packed with 19 adorable designs for girls and boys from birth to 7 years. Snuggly Tiny Tots Dk
Tiny Tots is one of Sirdar Snuggly’s unique, textured baby yarns and we’ve created 4 new, irresistibly chalky pastel shades sprinkled with white neps – there’s a sweet pink and pale peach for girls and sprightly green and a cool, spring blue for boys.
In our new Peek-a-boo baby knits book 372, there are 13 textured little hand knits including the prettiest peachy lace and perfectly pink cardie designs in gorgeous little shapes, for girlie girls … and for little boys, we have sporty cricket-style sweaters and tanks in trendy green and textured cardies in beige and blue. Both the book and 6 new leaflets have sizes from newborn to 7 years.
Snuggly Snowflake Dk
We have 3 cuddly new leaflets for babies including your favourite raglan-sleeved cardies, there’s a pretty cardie edged in Snuggly Dk, a pom pom hat and matching jacket in the 2 vibrant new shades of Candy Pink 650 and Spearmint 651.
Snuggly Snowflake Chunky
We have 3 new colours and 4 new leaflets in the wonderfully fleecy Snowflake Chunky. For girls there’s a trendy short-sleeved cardie with cute stripes 1924 and an embroidered cardie and matching beret in our gorgeous new Spearmint 651 and Candy Pink 650 shades 1934. There’s a girl’s trendy yoke cardie with short and long sleeves 1925 and little hooded jackets for boys 1923 (with optional ears!) in the jolly new blue, Lagoon 652.
Flirt Dk
Flirt Dk is the first of our exciting, new yarns for Spring 2010 and is made from a blend of silky bamboo and cool wool. This beautiful double knitting yarn has incredible drape and creates fabulously chic hand knits. Flirt Dk comes in a range of 10 fabulously glamorous shades – there are 5 shiny metallics and 5 deep, rich shades.
We have created 8 incredibly stylish leaflets and the Flirt Dk book 371 – with an emphasis on sophisticated designs for women and girls, with lace stitches on flirty batwing tops, slinky, drapey necklines, frills and glamorous long line cardigans. These designs are perfect for summer and can also be worn for evenings all year round. Five of these new designs include larger sizes.
Wash 'n' Wear Double Crepe Dk
This season, for our classic double knitting yarns, Wash ‘n’ Wear DC and Country Style Dk, we have 4 new leaflets including up to the minute women’s fashion shapes featuring the flattering ‘shaped shoulder’ and ‘t-shaped’ knits as well as a classic tie-fronted cardie with raglan sleeves. You can knit these new designs in any of our double knitting yarns – just check the yardage and choose your favourite colour!
Country Style 4 Ply
We have two new designs in our classic 4 Ply yarn, there’s a beautifully fine classic vee neck tank and sweater design for men (that knits from just two balls of Country Style 4 Ply) and a pretty, lacy cardigan featuring the shade ‘Thistle’ 460.
Click Dk
Click Dk has plenty of pretty spring colours in the range including Pistachio 117 and Tranquil blue 116 as shown on this trendy girl’s yoke cardie design. We have two new leaflets in Click Dk, with an easy knit short and long sleeved cardie with a touch of lace for women.
Eco Wool Dk
Eco Wool Dk comes in a range of five naturally blended colours and two phased shades – they’re all made from un-dyed Eco Wool fibre and these colours are made from the natural shades of wool. With earthy colours including Cobblestones 205 and Flint 204, these Eco Wool shades look stylish and are good for the environment too.
We have created 8 new leaflets for women featuring the best of our designs from 3 incredibly popular books. Our designs range from the easy short-sleeved waistcoats and cardies, large collared jackets and cabled sweaters and cardies. Leaflet 9299 has 4 fabulously stylish textured or stripy berets in one size that fits women and girls.
Snowball
Sirdar Snowball makes THE softest, THE quickest and THE most irresistibly cosy scarf…..this winter! And it makes a fantastic, last minute stocking fillers for women and girls. You can knit or crochet a women’s scarf from one ball or create two smaller scarves for girls. With 12 tantalising colours, including Glamour Red, Tutti Frutti pink, Leopard, Snow White or Black Velvet, you can have lots of fun choosing colours too!
This super-sized, textured pom pom yarn creates a scarf that’s out of this world. (It’s the over-sized fluffy pom poms that make this yarn just so soft to wear!)
All you need is 8mm needles – it’s only 5 stitches wide – and it takes just 40 minutes to knit! Or knit 2 smaller scarves for girls (cast on 4 sts and knit 100 cm / half the ball). Snuggly Dk 50g
Once again we have some fabulous new colours and designs for babies and children in our incredibly popular Snuggly Dk. There are 4 bright and colourful new shades with the toybox names of Engine Red, Soldier Blue, Elf green and Pixie turquoise – they’re the perfect shades for cosy little winter knits with a trendy, retro feel. We’ve called this new baby collection ‘Little Brits in Spiffing Knits’.
Our designs team have been inspired by some of the vintage patterns in the Sirdar archive, and they have brought these classic designs up to date in our fabulously soft and cosy Snuggly Dk baby yarn.
There are 6 new leaflets and an adorable new book 369 with 16 of these ‘most spiffing little knits’. For little girls we have adorable cardies featuring our scampering Scottie-dog motifs, and sweetly embroidered cables. Our vintage-inspired boys knits include splendid shawl collared jackets, cool Britannia cabled sweaters and jolly little waistcoats. We have matching pom-pom berets and cable hats – and a cosy blanket too. They’re all designed for babies and children from newborn to 7 years.
Snuggly 4 Ply 50g
We have 2 new shades to add into our Snuggly 4 ply range - Bubble Pink 405 and Toddle Aqua 407 for girls. Snuggly 4 ply creates the softest, delicate little hand knits and as this yarn is finer, it’s many people’s favourite for newborn babies.
To launch these gentle baby shades there are 3 adorable new leaflets, featuring pretty styles with 2 crochet cardigan designs and an easy stocking stitch knitted cardie with a co-ordinating bonnet all for girls. Our new 4 ply designs go from newborn baby up to 7 years.
Snuggly Kisses Dk
Snuggly Kisses Dk is a gorgeously soft double knitting baby yarn that creates adorable knits in delicate, soft stripe colours. We have 2 new shades with ‘Princess Pink’ 758 for girls and a new aqua blue ‘Doodle’ 757 mainly for boys, 6 new leaflets and the new ‘More Kisses’ book 368.
Kisses Dk makes the cutest little knits and there are 6 leaflets and a book with all12 designs in sizes from newborn to 7 years. Mainly knitted in easy stocking stitch – there are girlie cardies with touches of lace, pretty scalloped and frilled edges and for boys there are trendy cabled cardies, tanks and hoodies.
The delicate stripe effect on Snuggly Kisses Dk looks stunning in our gorgeous baby blankets, and they feel incredibly soft too, making these blankets just perfect for Snuggling up little ones! We have created 2 fabulous blanket designs – one with a beautiful leaf motif and the other features the stunning ‘entrelac’ knitting technique. (If you have never knitted entrelac, do have a try, it’s really good fun!)
Escape Chunky
Escape Chunky is the perfect yarn for knitting hand knits to keep you looking stylish and keep you cosy and warm as the temperatures plummet. We have 2 fabulous new wintry colours with Ravishing red and the fashionable neutral colour shown here, Destiny. (Escape chunky has a fabulous range of vibrant fashion colours to choose from.)
Our 3 new designs feature this season's major fashion shapes with easy knit short-sleeved cardigans for women and girls designed to create cosy layers over long sleeved tee shirts.
Escape Dk
Escape Dk has 3 incredible new shades - Ravishing, Frolic and Vivacious. Ravishing is the most vibrant mix of bright reds and pinks, Frolic has softer pinks and purples and Vivacious is a blend of emerald greens and rich turquoise blues.
We have four exciting new leaflets including stunning sweaters, cardies and waistcoats for women, a girls leaflet with bobbled and lacy edges (2280) and colourful lace-edged socks, hats and mitts (9264) - smaller knits with a bright burst of exciting winter colour
Big Softie
Big Softie is our easiest to knit yarn and we have created the easiest designs aimed at new knitters. There are three Easy Knit leaflets for you in fashionable, cosy styles and the vibrant new colours of 344 Boho and 343 Puffball.
Leaflet 9265 features easy designs in the trendy t-shape with a generous big collar. If you want to knit for your man 9266 has the easiest sweater for men and boys. Leaflet 9267 has easy first scarves, including a trendy neck warmer!
Bonus Aran 400g with Wool
For our second book of favourite aran knits we have again plundered the archives to find more traditional aran stitches. All your favourites are here worked into modern, wearable styles (many of them with your favourite raglan sleeves). There are beautiful designs for all the family - men, boys, women and girls - all ages from 4 years to 70 years.
For women and girls we have designed flattering one-button waistcoats and stylish raglan-sleeved jackets in beautifully soft and heathery shades. There are some smaller projects too - our textured berets, fingerless mitts, wrist warmers and leg warmers. And for 'the boys' we have created raglan-sleeved sweaters, cardigans and hoodies. (We think our hoodie designs look great on girls too.) There's even a scarf for Scotty the dog!
We have created these designs in Hayfield Bonus Aran - a beautiful, wool blend yarn that comes in a palette of all your favourite aran shades. This cosy Aran makes fabulously textured cables that feel wonderfully soft to touch and creates enchanting hand knits to treasure for years.
Snuggly Baby Bamboo Dk
Baby Bamboo Dk is a fabulous yarns for babies and children and with 20% wool, it creates beautiful garments to wear in winter and summer too. There are 2 new leaflets using popular colours from our existing range.
We have two pretty bobble edged cardies with popular raglan sleeves for girls, featuring a matching beret and knitted shoes (1892). For boys, we've designed a smart waistcoat and cardie with trendy diamond and zig-zag textures (1893).
One Hour Scarf
One Hour Scarf yarn is the quickest and easiest scarf yarn to knit this winter - it takes just one hour to create! All the instructions are on the ball band and you need just one 150g ball to create a larger scarf for women - or two smaller scarves for girls. The result is a very glamorous, velvety scarf that knits up in no time at all.
Our One Hour Scarf yarn comes in 8 fabulous colours with stunners including 'Dashing Red', 'Velvetina' purple, 'Boogie Woogie' pink as well as a black, cream and winter white - they're colours that have been chosen to dress up a winter coat

Crofter Dk is a unique yarn by Sirdar - with it's fabulous 'Fair Isle effect', easy care and softness it creates the most beautiful and unique hand knits.

We have developed a new lilac, Heathery 046, a pretty blue called Skye 047, an incredibly wearable grey for women and men called Munroe 048 and finally, a much more colourful Crofter shade Plumage 049 with a fantastic mixture of reds, blues and yellows.

With an emphasis on easy knits, there's a trendy woman's waistcoat with a clever cable shaping in Munroe 048, and two T-shaped designs for women and girls in Heathrery 046 and Plumage 049 and a cardigan, with flattering ribbing to nip in the waist, in the pretty new shades of Skye 047 and Heathery 046.

Click Chunky with Wool
We have three new winter solid shades to boost the Click Chunky range; Really Red 163, Botany Blue 164 and Marine Blue 165 - these are fantastically bold shades designed to add a dash of style to your wardrobe this winter. We have designed three new cardigan leaflets, two for girls age 2 - 13 years and one for women. All three leaflets feature crunchy cables on yokes and borders to show just how much texture can be created with this incredible chunky yarn.
Click Aran with Wool
Click Aran is a great yarn for cables and textured knits too, again we introduce two strong blues to the range this period with classic navy 'Deep Blue' 123 and a brighter solid blue 'Cove Blue' 115 perfect for men, women, boys and girls. We have used both new shades in trendy and casual sweaters for men and boys on leaflet 9260.
We also have a new women's leaflet 9254, with an incredibly wearable waistcoat with a flatteringly large collar in a style that includes larger sizes and leaflet 9253 with a stylish women's jacket with chunky cables.
Denim Ultra
We have designed this winter's new Denim Story using all your favourite shades from our wonderfully soft Denim yarn collection - Denim Tweed Dk, Denim Chunky, Denim Sport Aran and Denim Ultra
There are 11 new leaflets and the wonderful Weekend Denim book 367, which is full of easy to wear, casual styles for women, men, girls and boys. These new designs include classic sweaters for men and boys and more trendy, up to the minute styles for women and girls with a range of fabulously textured and cabled jackets, flattering A-line cardies and trendy long and shorter sleeved tunic styles. Balmoral Dk
Balmoral Dk is our beautifully soft, natural wool and silk double knitting yarn and we have three fabulous new shades, Windsor Purple, Banquet Red and Highlander, and three exciting new autumn winter designs.
Balmoral Dk creates perfect stitch definition in our stylish T-shaped jacket (9225) with its easy textured stitch and also have a waistcoat with a stunning leaf stitch (9224). These flattering styles both go up to larger sizes.

Here we have 3 new, glorious winter berry colours for women and girls Damson, Dark Purple and Soft Teal in this classic yarn with a touch of wool.
